SITE LAST UPDATED 12/1/24
This is the home page for The Antique Safe Collector, Guy Zani Jr. from New Port Richey, Florida. This website is dedicated to anyone who is interested in antique safes and cast iron safe banks, whether you be a collector yourself, have a safe or cast iron safe bank you are trying to sell or get information on, or just have a passing interest. It is primarily a pictorial that can be used as a reference and historical source of information regarding antique safes and cast iron safe banks. The safes and cast iron safe banks on this site range in age from 1826 thru 1910. Keep in mind that safe production in the United States started in the very early 1820's with safes that date prior to that being produced in Europe. I have been buying, selling, trading and collecting safes for over 25 years. Full size safes, miniatures or personal safes, salesman's samples, and cast iron safe banks.
BULLETIN, effective Febrary 10, 2008 a NEW page called Sell You Antique Safe has been added. It is a free listing service available to the general public to sell their antique safe for free. Go to the top of the Sell Your Antique Safe page for how to list your antique safe for sale totally free. Also as of November 15, 2008 we have pictured over 100 cast iron safe banks for your enjoyment. Many are extremely rare and ones you do not see very often.
This site will be ever changing as additional acquisitions will be posted as they occur. If you have a question about any of the safes or cast iron safe banks pictured on this site or if you have a question about your own safe or cast iron safe bank, I will be happy to try and answer it for you. So sit back and enjoy viewing some very interesting and unusual safes and cast iron safe banks.
